Attitudes & Opinions of an Old School Idealist

Just another individual living in a society which seems enveloped in concern of safety, ecology and personal selfishness but has forgot traditional values. Most of us, in the prime of our lives (30 to 60 years old) were raised drinking from the garden hose, playing outside, riding our bikes without helmets, on concrete playgrounds, have survived and turned out fine and well adjusted. I ask why and how we have lost this past way of life. We need to ask ourselves what matters most, slow down, consider the consequence of our actions and affect of others before all our freedoms (especially of choice) disappear completely always remembering life's simplest rule of thumb..."Treat others as you wish to be treated".
Think about it and ask yourself,... should all live and flourish utilizing this simple rule, many of life's problems would be eliminated and "Uncle Sam" would have no purpose to dictate more laws, regulations and constrictions to interfere with our lives! What would a person (or country) have to fight or war about?
Or have we become to complicated and technical to realize something so simple?
